Rumor: Tons of Information about Peter Jackson’s Halo Project
Recently, a few gaming sites have picked up a ton of information about Peter Jackson’s unnamed Halo project from some supposedly very good sources. The sources that are said to be very close to Microsoft have dropped much information related to the project including the fact that the main character is a female Spartan and the date the game will be announced.
First of all, we have a rumor going around that Peter’s Jackson’s game will be starring a female Spartan warrior. This is not impossible, because anyone who has read the Halo novels (or is that just me?) knows that there were many females also enrolled in the Spartan program. However, I don’t think this one is true, because even though the character was female, the MJOLNIR armor would make her look almost the same as Master Chief (unless she is using some other form of armor). And since Master Chief hardly ever talks, it would seem as though we’re playing with the same character.
Second up is the other rumor floating about that this game will be unveiled at the Tokyo Game Show, which takes place October 9-12. This rumor is also quite believable, because it’s about time Microsoft showed that project. The project has been worked on for years, but the game is still unnamed. It’s about time Microsoft shows what they’ve been working on for so long. But why show it in Japan?
Speaking of Microsoft, here a slightly unrelated rumor about MGS: internal Microsoft Game Studios workers have been rumored to say that Microsoft had adopted the policy of releasing two Halo games per console generation, but they are looking to expand it to three or more Halo games per generation, the three being Halo 3, Halo Wars, and the Peter Jackson title. Oh yeah, and don’t forget the fourth one. Actually do forget it, save yourself some pain.
Back to the Peter Jackson project. Ok, we’ve got a really crazy rumor coming up; this one states that Bungie is developing this untitled project. I know it sounds completely ridiculous (and it probably is), but listen. Rumor has it that the Bungie game pulled from E3 was this project. And it would make sense for it to be revealed at TGS, because that would go right along with what Bungie has said. However, since Microsoft Game Studios has confirmed multiple times that they are working with Peter Jackson and Bungie is just helping out a bit, I would mark this one down as false.
If you believe the above rumor is false, you may believe this one; according to this rumor, there are many Bungie employees who are shifting their offices to Microsoft to help work on the Peter Jackson project. It has been known that, in the past few months, Microsoft has been staffing up the Peter Jackson team, but the news that members of this team are from Bungie is new. If this is true, it signifies that Bungie has a bigger hand in this game than originally thought.
Well there you have it, all the Peter Jackson’s Halo project rumors you need for a while. Hopefully Microsoft announces this game soon and gives it a title because “Peter Jackson’s Halo project” is a mouthful.

Yeah, I guess I was just trying to say that he doesn’t talk very often so he doesn’t have a very unique character. Of course you would be able to tell it’s the female spartan, but it would be difficult to distinguish the identity of the character, not just what he or she sounds like.

Uh actually I said that they would look very much alike. When I said that you would be able to distinguish them, I was referring to the voice of the character, not the way he or she would look
