xbox360_box_266x344 Microsoft Announcing Even More Titles at E3At this time, the lineup for the Xbox 360 looks like this: Gears of War 2, Too Human, Fable 2, Banjo and Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, and Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise.  And while that release schedule is fairly strong, it’s nothing compared to 2007.  But, according to Aaron Greenberg, Microsoft is not done announcing titles for 2008 just yet.

Greenberg, director of Xbox 360 product management, said, “We have not announced all of our line-up yet for 2008 but will provide more details at E3 next month.”  I wonder what other games Mr. Greenberg has up his sleeve.  We’ll see come next month.

But in the meantime, in addition to the five games mentioned above, we can look forward to Infinite Undiscovery, Fallout 3, Madden 2009, and the GTA IV downloadable content, according to Greenberg.

“Xbox 360 will continue to be the home to blockbuster games and the most exclusives,” Greenberg continued. “By the end of the year we will have over 1,000 games available for Xbox 360, which will be 2-3 times more than any other platform.”

Maybe the Xbox 360’s 2008 lineup can live up to the high, high standard set by 2007.
